Spring League Information

BRYC Recreation Volleyball is open to both boys and girls. However, if the boys want to play on a boys only team, BRYC does have a Boys Fall Recreation Program.

The Recreation Division of BRYC is a developmental league created for players with varying skill levels. The players are placed into three groupings, an Elementary Division (grades 4-6), a Middle School Division (grades 7-8) and a High School Division (girls only  for grades 9-12). In 2008, BRYC started a CLUB volleyball program, called Braddock Road Volleyball Club. Club volleyball is intended for the higher skilled players to compete in tournaments across the country.

The BRYC Youth Volleyball League starts in Mid-March and ends the 2nd week in June. The cost to play is $90. On-line Registration opens in December for the Spring season. Team selections are made upon conclusion of on-line registration. The coaches will contact players and parents about practice and game times.

The on-line registration has a "Comments" section to indicate other players you wish to be teamed up with for ride sharing purposes. We can't promise placement but will certainly do everything possible to accommodate those requests. Please include any scheduling conflicts that will assist us when placing your child on a team. Each team will have one game and one practice per week. Games and/or practice may be on weekends and/or weekdays.

The schools we use are assigned by Fairfax County Recreation and are local to the Braddock Road area, they include Frost MSLaurel Ridge ESLittle Run ESKings Glen ESIrving MSPoe MS and Lake Braddock SS. Practice and game times are based on coach's availability.

If you have questions, please email the Volleyball Commissioner.
